How to build a website with WordPress on Bluehost

Simple instructions for building a wordpress website

Making money online is achievable, but succeeding at this endeavor requires the right approach. So let’s jump right into a few things that are key to making this happen.

Building your first website

First off, choose a domain name. Take some time to think about this since your domain name should be relevant to the content on your website. Choose something short and simple to improve the chances of being typed correctly in a search engine. Once you’re happy with your domain name, go ahead and choose a content management system that will help you to create and manage your new website. My personal choice was wordpress.

How to get a domain name?

There’s no shortage of domain name providers online, and the one I recommend and use is Bluehost. They offer a free domain name if you open an account.

  • Free domain name.
  • Free SSL certificate.
  • One click wordpress install.
  • 24/7 support
  • Excellent prices.
  • They offer several plans to fit your budget.

Your website could be up and running for under 50 dollars a year. Now that’s an incredible deal!

Use this tool to find your perfect domain name.

Once you’ve created a Bluehost account, you’ll be taken to the dashboard. Find the section that says website, and click on the wordpress icon.

Next, select the domain for which you want wordpress to be installed and click next.

Add your admin information such as your site name/title and choose an email address that will be assosiated with your account. Also, a username and a password are required to login to your wordpress site.

Once installation is complete, go ahead and click on “view credentials here”, located at the top of the page. Your user name and password along with the domain will be displayed. Click on the domain and this will take you to the wordpress login.

welcome to your new website

Customizing your website.
